Located in Ahmedabad, Royal India podcasts Indian underground music to the world. The commission to design a screen icon came accidentally in a case of mistaken identity, yet the resulting relationship seemed fateful.

Syzygy

Syzygy is a design store in Hobart, Tasmania that needed an identity. Icons were developed representing ‘tags terms’ for the store : Decoration, Play, Imagination, Connecting, Entertainment, Work, Exploration, Learning, and Socialising. These icons were then coupled with a typographic logo treatment and applied as pattern to various applications.

Mays invites street artists to paint removable panels at their May Lane location in St Peters, Sydney. Mays: The May Lane Street Art Project is an exhibition of archived panels touring nationally in 2010-12. Bathurst Regional Art Gallery commissioned signage and a 84 page catalogue to accompany the show.

S.K.Y.Y.

S.K.Y.Y is an informal, yet large scale code-jam. Invited to produce a concept for the event icon we paired up with a beautiful mind who wrote a small app based on the event’s initials as the first line of code. The app pulls images from the web using a predefined set of parameters. The four retrieved images strictly informed the final icon. A very interesting process.

While googling to see where my sites rank in a search I stumbled on this at FontShop. They are selling some of the fonts I designed while employed at Letterbox. I can only take full credit for League and Bisque but I did have a hand in some of the others. Support Australian typography and purchase from one of our very few foundries!

Wilkintie produces letterpress art for kids available by subscription. Designed to reflect the letterpress tradition, an identity was created to be appealing to kids. We built an e-commerce site as well as various material including: business cards, gift boxes, bookmarks, labels, posting stickers, gift certificates, press-releases, etc.
